- Clean your septic tank to reduce the chance of premature system failure and reduce the chance of backups.
- Don’t stuff left overs, potato peels, egg shells, etc. down the garbage disposal or drain.
- If having guests, spread out usage from showers, laundry, etc. to avoid hydraulic overload.
- Don’t allow guests to park over any portion of your septic system.
