Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on the blessings we have been provided and to share the celebration with friends and family. I am most thankful for God’s love and provision, but I am also thankful for my septic system. That’s right–my septic system! Septic systems and sewer systems are one of those things that everyone needs, wants to work, but takes for granted. Are you thankful for your septic system?

I am thankful that we live in a country that has the means for this technology, as there are many countries in the world that fight these diseases every day. - Don’t stuff leftovers down the garbage disposal.
- If you have guests, try to spread out your usage on the system to avoid hydraulically overloading it.
- Clean out your septic tank if it has been 3-5 years since the last cleaning.
- Don’t use your drainfield as parking areas for guests.
